Emergency Preparedness Assessments

Resiliency One offers emergency preparedness assessments to identify and evaluate the capabilities of your agency, non-profit organization, or jurisdiction of any size. Our experience on the ground at all levels of government gives us an advantage when it comes to assessing your emergency response needs.

Emergency Planning and Mitigation

Emergency preparedness requires planning to coordinate and communicate during and after a hazard successfully. Resiliency One brings extensive on-the-ground experience in disaster management and mitigation to your emergency preparedness plans, policies, and procedures. We help you plan for all types of hazards, from campus shootings to natural disasters. Resiliency One utilizes FEMA and Homeland Security tools such as the THIRA, Local Mitigation Planning Handbook, and the Comprehensive Planning Guide 101, to name a few.

MITIGATION

Mitigation planning includes activities designed to prevent or reduce a disaster on the environment, people, and property within your jurisdiction. Federal policies require a formal mitigation plan any time Presidential Disaster Declaration funds are received. Pre-disaster mitigation plans may help reduce the damage caused by the next incident.

STAND-ALONE FACILITY PLANS

Stand-Alone Facility Plans help individual facilities plan for emergency response. Stand-alone plans include diagrams of the facility and surrounding layout, topography, and evacuation paths. We develop plans to address equipment, personnel, and evacuation information. Our plans identify small, medium, and worst-case scenarios for response actions. These plans include training, drills and exercises, meeting logs, and self-inspection techniques.

CONTINUITY OF OPERATIONS PLAN (COOP)/CONTINUITY OF GOVERNMENT

Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP)/Continuity of Government plans to document how an agency, department, or jurisdiction will perform essential operations during an emergency situation. These long-term disruptions to operations may last between two days to several weeks. Resiliency One develops a plan that identifies critical functions, communication methods, systems, locations, and alternative personnel. COOP and COG plans ensure your organization responds effectively to a disaster.

TRAINING

Resiliency One has personnel that can instruct, Homeland Security NIMS Incident Command System, National Association of Search and Rescue (NASAR) SAR Tech II, III, and Managing Lost Person Incident (MLPI), to name a few.

Security Drills and Exercises

We develop drills and exercises that build upon one another, culminating in a full-scale experience. Resiliency One applies the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) and Incident Command System (ICS) frameworks to craft your drills and exercises. We can adapt these core competencies to meet the needs of your organization. We listen to your goals and develop a security drill and exercise program to support your objectives.
